As the UK’s leading tobacco wholesaler, recent changes to the UK’s tobacco legislation had a big impact on Palmer and Harvey’s key stakeholders. Myriad PR gathered crucial insight into retailer’s opinions and concerns about the changes through research conducted at Pro-retail.  

With this insight P&H produced a guide to the upcoming legislation changes to help retailers manage the changes and prepare for them. To spread the message as widely as possible, once it had been distributed to P&H’s network of retailers, Myriad PR conducted 1-2-1 meetings with key trade press. Delivering journalists a copy of the guide instigated really productive conversations between Palmer and Harvey’s tobacco category experts, and the leading retail trade publications. 

The activity generated six feature pieces of coverage using P&H’s spokespeople and insights, in key retail trade titles reaching over 150,000 people.
